Additional Requirements

Important information about security bond, insurance, and other MOM requirements

Security Bond

Employers must purchase a S$5,000 security bond before the Work Permit can be issued. This is a mandatory requirement by the Ministry of Manpower.

The security bond is a guarantee to the Singapore government that both you and your helper will comply with the Work Permit conditions.

Our agency can arrange this security bond on your behalf with reputable insurers at competitive rates.

Insurance Requirements

Employers must purchase and maintain medical insurance with coverage of at least S$60,000 per year (increased from S$15,000) for inpatient care and day surgery, with a co-payment structure of 75% by insurers and 25% by employers for claim amounts above S$15,000.

Personal accident insurance with coverage of at least S$60,000 is also required for the duration of the helper's employment.

Starting July 2025, Primary Care Plan (PCP) for outpatient services will also be required. We offer comprehensive insurance packages that fulfill all MOM requirements and provide additional benefits for your peace of mind.
